24 Feb Couple of page mock-ups….
Couple of page mock-ups for the Good Wheel Hunting section of the graphic novel. I am very much enjoying the process and am getting a better grip on just how I should be going about this. With a rough layout in mind, I go ahead and draw away, not really taking too much care based on the fact that I am just flying and not going by any exact predrawn layout or idea. I am winging it and so far that is working out. Some things have hit the cutting room floor but for the most part, I am using nearly everything I am drawing. By doing it this way, I have found a solid balance of creative freedom and fun. I hope to have the Good Wheel section done sometime in May. Then it is on to no man's land, unchartered territory of Longhair and Doubledome.
